As the Watchsmith, I am committed to providing a fair and equitable warranty for vintage timepieces I sell and service.

Therefore, each watch purchased or serviced through thewatchsmith.org is covered by a 2 Years Limited Warranty, unless otherwise described herein.

The Watchsmith 2-Year Sales Warranty 

Thewatchsmith.org offers a limited warranty on every vintage watch sold on our website. Vintage timepieces sold by thewatchsmith.org are warranted by the thewatchsmith.org for two (2) years from the date of purchase (the “Date of Purchase”). The Date of Purchase is defined as the date on the bill-of-sale, sales receipt, or any dated document designated by thewatchsmith.org as proof-of-purchase. 

Thewatchsmith.org  2-Years Limited Service Warranty 

If a problem arises with a warrantied product because of work or parts provided by thewatchsmith.org, and within the two years (2 years) period following initial thewatchsmith.org, thewatchsmith.org will repair or replace any damaged parts and/or correct the repair execution at its sole discretion. Following a repair, the watch will be covered by the thewatchsmith.org for two-years (2) service warranty from the date of the timepiece’s documented in-person retrieval by owner or shipment from thewatchsmith.org. 

Restrictions and Conditions: What Is Not Covered 
Conditions apply to thewatchsmith.org two-year (2) limited service warranty. The repair warranty does not cover parts that thewatchsmith.org did not service, water damage, shock damage, all abuse, or any handling that exceeds the limits of a timepiece’s intended use or age. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Third-party service, removing parts, or addition of parts will void the thewatchsmith.org two-year (2) limited warranty on vintage watches. Thewatchsmith.org will, at its sole discretion, determine the applicability of its warranty to each timepiece for which a warranty claim is lodged in a fair and caring way.

The customer pays for the shipping to the Watchsmith.org.

The Watchsmith.org pays for the return shipping by USPS Priority Mail
